Typhoon Dujuan

Typhoon Dujuan hit northern Taiwan Monday morning U.S. time. It was equivalent of a Category 4 hurricane. Winds higher than 150 mph and nearly 30 inches of rain have already been reported.   1. I read that Japan experienced a record breaking wind gust of 181 mph, the last record being broken in 1966. It makes me wonder if the frequency of record breaking weather will increase as we continue to experience climate change; I assume it will.
